At Camintek we specialize in structured cabling installations, knowing that it’s the foundation of any well-developed IT infrastructure. We design and develop high-performance cabling solutions which support voice, data, video and other systems, ensuring stable communication and long-term reliability and scalability for any type of environment.

Copper and Fiber Optic Infrastructure

We supply and install structured cabling systems using high-quality copper and fiber optic technologies designed to support current network demands and future expansions. We are certified and work with the main industry brands such as Panduit, Corning and Commscope.

These systems support:

High-speed data networks
Voice communication systems
Security systems (CCTV and access control)
Audio-visual technologies
Data center connectivity

Our focus is to design appropriate and standards-based installations that provide flexibility for future expansions, enabling organizations to adapt to new technologies without costly redesigns. Our solutions support environments such as:

Corporate offices and enterprises
Industrial plants and warehouses
Hospitals and healthcare facilities
Universities and educational institutions
Commercial buildings and retail spaces
Data centers and technology facilities

Frequently asked questions

We specialize in copper cabling (Cat6, Cat6A, etc.) and fiber optic (single-mode, multi-mode) guaranteeing high-performance backbone and horizontal cabling systems.

There are differences in the performance, transmission speed and bandwidth of each cable category. A Cat6A structured cabling is more robust, fast and capable of supporting more data flow than Cat6. Similar to a highway, where cars travel on two lanes, four lanes or six lanes, a higher cable category means it has more lanes in which the data travels through.

Fiber is highly recommended in circumstances in which connections are at a long distance, there are high bandwidth requirements and in environments with high electromagnetic interference. Fiber optic is most commonly used for backbone connections in industrial plants or large facilities.

In every installation we make sure to follow industry standards, as well as building and client codes, guaranteeing high performance and durability for 20 years. Every drop is tested by our team using certification tools which verify signal strength, interference levels and compliance with standards.

No, wireless networks rely on wired infrastructure for backbone connectivity and performance. In our experience, wireless technology is not as reliable and stable as cabling because of interferences in the environment. In industrial plants or manufacturing facilities where there are crucial operations going on, reliable and strong connectivity and communication is a priority for organizations, therefore counting on wireless technology can be risky.
